Colonel Christina Bloss

Colonel Christina M. Bloss graduated from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina in 1987 with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant (Military Intelligence) in the United States Army through the Reserve Officer Training Corps, she graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate.

Colonel Bloss has served in a variety of positions. She began her career in the 102nd MI Bn , Camp Casey, Korea from 1989-1990 as the Battalion S2 and ELINT Platoon Leader, in 7-101 Aviation Battalion, 101st AVN BDE, 101st DIV, Fort Campbell, KY from 1990-1992, as the Battalion S2, deploying to DESERT STORM/DESERT SHIELD with the 101st. Colonel Bloss had a 9 year break in service where she remained active in the United States Army Reserves and was recalled to active duty while serving as the HHC, Commander, USACAPOC August 2001. Colonel Bloss served at INSCOM Headquarters from 2001-2003 as an Operations Team Chief and Inspector General, she had a variety of assignments in Hawaii from 2003-2005 beginning as the USARPAC G2, Deputy Chief of Plans, Fort Shafter; Intel Plans Officer, Standing Joint Force Headquarters (SJFHQ), Ford Island; and Battalion S3, 732nd MI Bn, Schofield Barracks. Colonel Bloss served in Korea from 2005-2008 in Eighth U. S. Army, as the Chief of Plans, G2 and Secretary of the General Staff, and in USARCENT from 2008-2010 as the Strategic Intelligence Plans Officer, G3 and the Deputy G5 (FWD) Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. From 2010-2013, Colonel Bloss was the Chief, Watchlisting Division, Joint Intelligence Task Force-Combatting Terrorism and Deputy Director Operations, Defense Combatting Terrorism Center, Defense Intelligence Agency. From 2013-2015, Colonel Bloss served as a Presiding Officer, Army Review Board Agency, Pentagon, and from 2015-2017 she served as the J25, Plans and Exercises Division, J2 AFRICOM, Stuttgart, GE, and most recently as the NETCOM G2 from 1 August 2017 to 20 June 2018.

Colonel Bloss’ service education includes the Military Intelligence Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, U. S. Army Airborne School, U.S. Army Air Assault School, Inspector General Course, U.S. Army Psychological Operations Course, CAS3, Command and Staff College, JPME II Course.

Colonel Bloss’ personal awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Medal (2 awards), Meritorious Service Medal (4 awards), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal (2 awards), Joint Service Achievement Award (2 awards), Army Achievement Medal (3 awards), National Defense Service Medal (2), Southwest Asia Service Medal (3), Global War on Terrorism, Global War on Terrorism-Expeditionary, Kuwait Defense Service Medal, Saudi Arabia Kuwait Liberation Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal.
